This is a tribute to the unbreakable spirit of those who dared to defy oppression, to challenge conventions. We honor their memory, for they became the symbols of a movement that defied all odds. A movement that rose in the face of adversity, speaking truth to power, and demanding justice.
In the heart of Iran, a chorus of voices echoed the pain of loss. A staggering toll of at least 530 protesters lives lost to the relentless forces of oppression. And still, more than words, it's their stories that resonate.
And even a year later the demonstrations persist, driven by a continuing dissatisfaction with the clerical establishment and, in particular, the hijab laws. Brave women cast aside veils, defying morality police and surveillance cameras in a testament to their unwavering resolve.
As we remember Mahsa Amini and her fellow brave souls, united in their courage, unwavering in their pursuit of justice, their stories stand as a testament to the enduring human spirit, an embodiment of resilience, and a beacon of hope for a better future.
